Half Day - Morning $650 |
Our Morning Galveston Bay trip offers a peaceful and productive way to start the day on the water. We depart at daybreak and fish through late morning — timing our trip to take advantage of the cooler early temperatures and the strong morning bite. We'll have you back before noon so you can fulfill your family requirements or catch that ballgame you don't want to miss.
As the sun rises, bait becomes active and predator fish begin feeding aggressively. Depending on the season and conditions, we target speckled trout and redfish around wells, reefs, shorelines, and mid-bay structures. We use proven techniques such as live bait under a popping cork, fishing the bottom, or drifting — adjusting our approach to match the conditions and maximize success.
Morning trips are perfect for families, groups of friends, or clients who want calm waters, beautiful sunrise views, and steady action. There’s nothing better than watching the sun come up over Galveston Bay with tight lines and a full box as we head back to the dock before the heat of the day sets in.

Learn The Bay $350 |
Our Galveston Bay Learning Charter is designed for anglers who want more than just a guided trip — it’s for those who want to truly understand the ins and outs of fishing the bay.
This hands-on charter focuses on teaching you how to read tides, interpret wind direction, locate productive structure, and understand seasonal fish patterns. Whether you’re a new boat owner, a weekend angler looking to improve, or someone preparing for tournaments, this trip is tailored to help you build confidence and knowledge. Ask questions, take notes, mark spots, and gain real-world experience on the water.
By the end of the trip, you’ll have the skills and understanding to consistently find and catch them on your own in Galveston Bay.
This trip typically takes 3 hours. We will also need to understand the condition of your vessel and may require a membership to SeaTow or an equivalent service.
